Note:

1.

The basic
training of Computer is also provided to all the
students from class III onwards.

The
vocational training in Music/Dancing/Painting/Games
Sports/Karate is provided by outside experts on payment.
Every student has to opt one event from Arts & Craft and
one from Games & Sports. |

A child
can opt for English or Hindi medium in Social Science. |

Examination |
|
In each
academic year the Vidyalaya will hold following test and
examinations. |

Pre-Board Examinations will be conducted for Class X and

Minimum Attendance |

A pupil may
not be allowed to appear in the annual / Board examination
if he/she has not put in minimum of 75 percent of the
attendance of the academic session including attendance put
in a previous school, if the student has been admitted on
transfer. |

Home
Examination And Promotion Rules |
|
a)
|
The final
assessment of a pupil at the end of the Academic Session
shall be based on the achievement in the Unit Test, Half
Yearly Examination, Session Ending Examination, regular Home
& Class Work and Projects / Practical undertaken by him/her
throughout the year. |
|
b)
|
The Percentage
of distribution of marks of each subject will be as under

i) |
In classes
I to V, the Grading System (A to E) of evaluation has
been introduced. In Class III and above, if a student
obtains E. grade in 3 or more subjects in two
consecutive classes, he/she may be detained in the same
-class. |

ii) |
In classes
VI to IX and XI, to pass examination, a pupil must
obtain not less than 33% marks in each academic subject
viz. Languages, Mathematics, Science, Social Science and
Sanskrit, and aggregate of 33%. The passing criteria in
each subject is applicable to marks secured upto third
term and session - ending exam separately with at least
20 01 of 60 and 13 out of 40 respectively and aggregate
of 33 in each subject. |

iii) |
In class
IX and XI a candidate failing in one or two subjects
will be eligible to take a Supplementary Examination in
those subjects. The candidate will be promoted to the
next higher class only if he / she secures at least 33%
in each of these subject in the Supplementary
Examination. |

iv) |
If a pupil
fails for two years in the same class, he / she will not
be allowed to continue for the third year and he / she
has to leave the school. |
|
|
Medical Facilities |
|
Medical
Check-up for the students is done twice in a year. |
|
Leave |
|
A child may be
allowed leave in very special case by the Principal. The
application should be sent to the school on the same day
duly signed by father or guardian. During Test/Exam no leave
will be granted except once in an academic session on
medical ground and a Medical Certificate from an authorized
Medical officer will have to be submitted along with the
leave application.
Long leave on
any other ground shall not be allowed ordinarily except
under very special circumstances and at the risk of the
guardian himself/herself. |
