Computer Education is imparted
from class IIIrd onwards as a compulsory subject and
Informatics practices at +2 level as an optional subject.
All computers are connected with Internet and the students
are more benefited with all these latest facilities.
Our Library has about 15000 books
on all subjects and all levels. In addition to various
newspapers, we have latest periodicals, magazines and
journals.
To make the Teaching & learning
interesting and joyful we are using T.V., V.C.R, OHP & LCD
etc. Students are taught the concepts of learning using
various educational videos, CD's and demos prepared by
teachers. It has rich library of various educational
softwares and encyclopedias which is shown on computers for
better understanding of concepts.
The Vidyalaya has two big
playgrounds. Games like Basket ball, Volley ball, Handball,
kho-kho, Cricket, Football, Long-Tennis, Table-Tennis etc
are played by students regularly. Every wednesday Mass PT
and scout & Guides activities are conducted. Separate rooms
for Music, SUPW, and Art activities are there.
Our Vidyalaya is decorated with
beautiful lawns and many planters are have been displayed
near the entrance. The primary children park is also
developed.
Different drives are taken on
weekly basis to teach values, promote love to nature, nation
and humanity, and develop behavioral skills and scientific
aptitude and thereby to develop balanced personality.
There is a House - system
wherein the students are provided full opportunity to
develop their skills and leadership qualities. The Inter
House competition comprises - debate, folk dance, quiz
contest, drawing, painting, elocution, essay writing,
patriotic song etc.
Thus, the Vidyalaya in total has
a complete set up to promote sound physical, psychomotor,
intellectual and socio-emotional development of its
students.
With the mission in mind, the
Vidyalaya has laid stress on academic as well as
non-academic activities. Besides setting a very good result
in the board examination, we boast of good outputs in
co-curricular activities and sports. Students are also
encouraged to practice meditation and yoga. |
